The Ku Klux Klan (Tea Party Movement) understands that racial segregation is a very effective system for controlling the nation’s bounty. Racial segregation is the underpinning of white supremacy for it defines the autocracy caste and shuns all people of color to the chattel caste. In defining the autocracy caste the white supremacists needed to make sure there was no incarnation of a mongrel breed where mulatto, quadroon, octoroon and others by virtue of their whiteness features shared in the Anglo-Saxon’s birthright.

On February 18, 1915, “The Birth of a Nation” (The Clansman) was the first motion picture ever to be shown in the White House. President Woodrow Wilson made his infamous statement that gave legitimacy to D. W. Griffith’s KKK propaganda movie. “It is like writing history with Lightning. And my only regret is that it is all so terribly true.” This blockbuster movie painted a black scourge against white America that the KKK needed to rectify to return order to the Old Confederacy. Thus, the KKK became the regulator of blacks.

Mark Calney has an article with a provocative title the offers insight into how successful D.W. Griffith was in building an infrastructure for getting the Ku Klux Klan anti-black message into the national psyche. He offers, “D. W. Griffith and ‘The Birth of A Monster’ How The Confederacy Revived The KKK and Created Hollywood.”

President Wilson gave the movie industry remarkable powers in shaping the mainstream psyche on the role of blacks by his offering tacit approval of “The Birth of a Nation.” The first black Oscar win came to a female servant, Hattie Mc Daniel, in the 1939 Civil War epic “Gone with The Wind.” Daniel’s role suggested that the black slave servant was happy to accept her lot in life. Stepin Fetchit made a fortune giving white racists comfort that they did not need to worry about uppity black males competing for their jobs and socioeconomic stature.

The undergirding message in these black degrading movie characters is to tell poor and uneducated whites that her or his stature in the economic mainstream is superior to all persons of color – White Privilege.  Jobs of substantial pay, or responsibility, or respectability, or political offices local, statewide and national representatives were understood to be whites only jobs.

The Caucasian female was the template for beauty. She was the cherish prize as a symbolic message of yesterday’s antebellum queen of the plantation manner. The white female was to be emulated by women of color.  She was also the forbidden fruit for black males that meant lynching for Klan disapproved interactions with her.  

Professional black Americans employment scope was preacher, teacher, lawyer, and medical or dental doctor.

Although African Americans had some political power during the Reconstruction epoch the Ku Klux Klan and trickery at the voting polls made sure that Black US Congressional elected officials became relics of a by gone epoch. All US Congressional African Americans during Reconstruction were members of the Republican Party.

The white supremacy enchantment lulled the white racists into underestimating the nonwhite Americans’ zeal to rise up the socioeconomic ladder of success. A white senior citizen shared that his grandfather had hidden Confederate horses from General Sherman on his trek to take the State of Georgia during the US Civil War. He also said while eating lunch with some white good old boys in the early 1950s he predicted that African Americans would some day gain socioeconomic parity in the economic mainstream. The good old boys thought that his belief was silly.

The senior citizen said that his great grandfather had slaves. He contended that his grandfather treated his blacks with some semblance of respect but they still had to eat in the servants’ quarters. An aunt befriended a black lady who left their Georgia town to migrate north. When this black lady returned for a visit she dined in the aunts’ dinning room as a regular guess. Finally, he said his son spoke often of his college room mate; he and his wife were floored to find this chap was African American for his son never spoke of race only of the person. This white senior southern citizen was very happy to see President Barack Obama make his forecast be right on the button. 

This senior citizen’s family racial tolerance evolutionary path point out a very serious strategic mistake by the KKK in using yesteryear’s mindset to kill the acceptance of diversity as the national norm. Public school desegregation, civil rights and voting rights acts, and the US Supreme Court knocking down the anti-miscegenation laws redefined African American civil rights goals away from solely black liberation issues to mainstream socioeconomic parity. Hence, the white racists learned that murdering Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. had the unintended consequence of turning him into a saintly martyr where Mainstream America celebrates his contributions to racial tolerance with a Federal Holiday.    

Black America no longer needs a messianic civil rights leader. The heir to the King leadership legacy had to be someone who commands mainstream respect in fostering opportunity for all Americans regardless of race, creed, national origin, or sexual orientation.  President Obama recognized this African American leadership vacuum, so he promptly filled it.

The white supremacist morphed their plan for nonwhite suppression to defaming President Barack Obama with exploiting propaganda lies. They got people believing the President is not a native born citizen and he is Muslim. It becomes easy to associate these lies with the Tea Party Movement being nothing more than the latest iteration in the evolution of the Ku Klux Klan. Therefore, we take the Tea Party Movement to task for racism.

Today, they are seething over their failure to prevent the election of an African American President.  The Tea Party Movement’s proclamation, “I want my country back” is their code words for saying I will not accept that yesterday’s white privilege is a socioeconomic casualty of mainstream diversity where now white affirmative action,  white race is the key factor in deciding who has access to the nation’s bounty, falls victim to individual talents.

Tea Party candidates outlandish revelations make it very difficult for the racist bigwigs to take unnecessary media bashings; therefore, we might expect them to very quietly create a modern iteration of yesterday’s Anglo-Saxon Clubs of America (ASCOA). Paul Lombardo of the University of Virginia reports, “[John] Powell, a celebrated pianist and composer, was the founder of the Anglo-Saxon Clubs of America, an elitist version of the Ku Klux Klan dedicated to maintaining ‘Anglo-Saxon ideals and civilization in America.’”

I guesstimate that Rupert Murdoch, Russ Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, and Glen Beck have morphed into a modern day iteration of the Anglo-Saxon Clubs of America where they remain the racist gentry without getting themselves directly involved in the cruel antics of the Tea Party sign carriers. Sarah Palin is attempting to remain class neutral, so she allows herself to be the darling of the Tea Party Movement.

ASCOA is a very dangerous group because they have considerable wealth, media access, and can easily orchestrate a lynching atmosphere for their low class Tea Party Movement minions. Fox News is the modern day lynching venue where the ASCOA target is now media lynching President Barack Obama who committed the high crime of being a nonwhite President of the United States of America.  A huge nonwhite and white with nonwhite ancestry voter turnout in the 2010 Midterm Election is the only thing that will convince today’s Anglo-Saxon Clubs of America that the United States is in a post civil rights epoch where racial diversity is now the new paradigm.
