Are Republicans Pawns of Al Qaeda? August 9, 2010 |

The Republican Party is hell-bent on vilifying any hint of liberal
thinking in the American mainstream. They appear to believe it is okay
to sacrifice the financial wherewithal of everyday Americans by undermining
any efforts by President Barack Obama to guide the nation out of Great
Depression II. Thus, conservatism is the Republicans’ 2010 mantra.
First let us call upon the words of President
Franklin D. Roosevelt, who had to clean up the Republican Party's
financial mess from
Great Depression I, for his view on the conservative.
“A
conservative is a man with two perfectly good legs who, however, has
never learned how to walk forward.” Does that suggest that today’s
Republicans are yearning for a return of the modern day robber barons that
raped and pillage the US economy?
With
the national unemployment rate at 9.5 percent coupled with the Republicans stymieing every
effort put forth by the Obama Administration coupled with America’s
corporate leadership overly nervous about hiring new workers even though
they are profitable suggest either there is massive fear or a sinister
oligarchy plot underway. If
America’s economic stagnation is caused by corporate executive fear,
then it is most likely honest. We must remind these executive what
President Roosevelt taught that we need only have fear of fear itself. On the
other hand if a Republican oligarchy developed a political strategy to
prolong the current economic crisis, we must debate whether they have morphed
into strategic pawns of Al Qaeda. The Great Chinese war
philosopher, Sun Tzu, teaches that “All war is based on deception.” The
real Al Qaeda strategic objective is to cause a Western Economic
meltdown creating a financial catastrophe that will make political
conditions appropriate for the rise of radical Islamic law.
Al Qaeda
is well aware that Sun Tzu Teaches, “There is no instance of a nation
benefitting from prolonged warfare.” Thus, Al Qaeda knows the longer the
wars in Iraq and Afghanistan drag on they are winning by destroying the
US economy. But Al Qaeda must have underestimated President Obama’s
resolve to devalue Middle Eastern oil by kindling the advent of
alternative fuel sources. President Obama also refused to allow the
world to slip into a full economic depression. It appears
that President Obama is a worst case scenario for Al Qaeda for he lived
under Islamic culture that afforded him an opportunity to understand the enemy’s
mindset. Sun Tzu teaches, “Know your enemy and know yourself and you can
fight a hundred battles without disaster.” As the
suicide attacks get bolder, they really are a gauge that the West is
winning. The Western fighters are learning to fight Al Qaeda because
they are getting to know the enemy as they know themselves. Today, Al
Qaeda is recruiting American born fighters because they do not know the
enemy as they know themselves. Al Qaeda
has been exploiting American greed and nativism. Oil disruptions gave
oil speculators a freehand to tax the world based upon an oil shortage
paranoia. The US saw gasoline rise over four dollars per gallon during
President George Bush’s late tenure up from under two dollars per gallon
during his early tenure in office. President Obama getting control
over the speculators is obviating American greed out of Al Qaeda’s
economic attack arsenal. However,
the Republicans appear to be pulling defeat out of the jaws of victory
by refusing to work out compromises with President Obama and the
Democrats. The Republicans took a major step towards national suicide by
working to put a wedge between President Obama and the American people
through allowing ultra rightwing propaganda to become the de facto party
mantra. Al Qaeda
got to celebrate when Republicans wanted to deny 30 million American
people healthcare. The Republican Party managed to put a persona non
grata welcome mat out for nonwhite Americans. Today’s Republican Party
is ignoring the teaching of the Great Republican President Abraham
Lincoln, “A house divided against itself cannot stand.”
Thus I
would like to know: 1) Are Republicans allowing the American people to
suffer depression level hardship as the social cost of their dream of
regaining political power in 2010? 2) Does the Republican leadership
understand that they are aiding and abetting Al Qaeda when they just say
no to everything? 3) Has the Republican leadership written off nonwhite
America? |
